Once there was an Ant who went to the bank of a river to fill its thirst. The Ant was carried away by the force of the stream ,he was on the point of drowning.
At the same time, a Dove sitting on a tree saw the Ant drowning in the water ,so to help the Ant he plucked a leaf and dropped it into the stream close to her.
The Ant climbed onto it and floated in safety at the safe side of the river. The Ant and the Dove became best friends.
After a few days, a hunter came and was about to aim the dove under the tree.
The Ant, being a friend, bit him in the
foot. In pain the hunter threw down the gun, and
the noise made the Dove alert and so to take his flight.
Moral: A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed
